The adult Bible class on Wednesday is studying the topic “Marriage and the Home”. The class began Aug. 13 and will go through the end of the Fall Quarter. These lessons will focus on the husband-wife relationship and God’s plan for families.
The adult Bible class on Sunday mornings has recently begun a study of “End Times”. We will take a look at Old Testament prophecy fulfillment concerning Christ in the New Testament. We will also examine false teachings like the AD 70 Theory, paused prophecies, and premillennial theories. Bill Becker is the teacher.
On Sundays, our preschool through 6th grade classes will learn about some of the miracles performed by Jesus and His role as a master teacher. Our youth class will begin a study of Romans.
On Wednesday nights, children in grades 1-6 will continue the survey of the books of the Bible with emphasis on learning the books in order. Grades 7-12 will be learning to defend arguments that question the authority of God and the Bible.
Our annual Friends and Family Day will be on Sunday Sept. 28. The speaker will be Bro. Justin Smith from Cullman. Our Fall Gospel Meeting will follow Monday-Wednesday (Sept. 29 – Oct. 1) at 7:00 pm each evening.
